# SELLER REGISTRATION, ONBOARDING & DECLARATION REQUIREMENTS ## 1. SELLER REGISTRATION To become a Seller on Sotibuy, an applicant must first create a personal Sotibuy account and then proceed to Seller Registration from their account. Seller registration must be completed using accurate and verifiable information. ## 2. INDIVIDUAL SELLERS An individual Seller may be required to provide: - Full legal name. - Active telephone number. - Email address. - Residential or operating address where required. - Bank account or approved settlement details. - Valid identification where required. - Information about the Products they intend to sell. - Any additional information reasonably required by Sotibuy. ## 3. BUSINESS SELLERS A business Seller may be required to provide: - Business or trading name. - Name of owner or authorized representative. - Telephone number. - Email address. - Business address where required. - Bank account or approved settlement details. - CAC registration details where applicable. - Relevant licences, certificates or approvals where applicable. - Product information. - Other information reasonably required by Sotibuy. ## 4. PRODUCT INFORMATION Applicants must identify the Products or Product categories they intend to sell. Sotibuy may request additional information or documentation before approving particular Product categories. ## 5. VERIFICATION Sotibuy may verify information supplied by an applicant. Verification may include: - Identity verification. - Business verification. - Bank or settlement information verification. - Product verification. - Documentation review. - Other reasonable verification procedures. ## 6. PRODUCT AUTHORIZATION Where a Product or Product category requires regulatory approval, licence, certification or other legal authorization, the Seller must possess the required authorization before listing or selling the Product on Sotibuy. ## 7. BUYER INFORMATION AND CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP Sotibuy manages the primary customer relationship on the Platform. Sellers will not ordinarily have access to a Buyer's personal contact information or other personal information beyond what Sotibuy determines is reasonably necessary for Order fulfilment. Where information is provided to a Seller for a legitimate operational purpose, the Seller must use it only for that purpose and must handle it in accordance with applicable law and Sotibuy's Privacy Policy. Sellers must not attempt to obtain, collect, copy, store, sell, share or misuse Buyer's personal information obtained through Sotibuy. ## 8. SELLER DECLARATIONS Before completing Seller Registration, the applicant must confirm that: ☐ The information provided to Sotibuy is accurate and complete. ☐ I am the person identified in this application or I am authorized to represent the business stated in the application. ☐ I will only list Products that I am legally permitted to sell. ☐ I will comply with Nigerian laws and applicable regulatory requirements. ☐ I will not knowingly list counterfeit, stolen, fraudulent or prohibited Products. ☐ My Product descriptions, images, prices and specifications will be accurate. ☐ I will maintain reasonably accurate Product availability and stock information. ☐ I will prepare confirmed Orders correctly and within the required timeframe. ☐ I will package Products appropriately before collection. ☐ I understand that Sotibuy manages the marketplace customer relationship, Order process, logistics and delivery process. ☐ I understand that I will not ordinarily have access to a Buyer's personal contact information. ☐ I will not attempt to obtain or misuse Buyer's personal information through Sotibuy. ☐ Where Sotibuy provides me with any Buyer information for a legitimate operational purpose, I will use it only for that purpose and will not use it for unauthorized marketing, solicitation or other unrelated activities. ☐ I will not use any information, communication, Order details or marketplace relationship obtained through Sotibuy to circumvent Sotibuy or conduct unauthorized transactions with Sotibuy Buyers outside the Platform. ☐ I will not encourage a Buyer to cancel a legitimate Sotibuy Order in order to purchase directly from me or through another platform for the purpose of avoiding Sotibuy's marketplace process or charges. ☐ I will not request unauthorized payment directly from a Buyer in connection with a Sotibuy Order. ☐ I will not independently negotiate returns, refunds or Order disputes with Buyers outside Sotibuy's approved process. ☐ I will cooperate with Sotibuy regarding returns, refunds, disputes, investigations and Order-related matters. ☐ I will comply with the Sotibuy Seller Agreement and applicable Sotibuy policies. ☐ I understand that violation of Sotibuy requirements may result in restrictions, suspension or termination of my Seller account. ## 9. REQUIRED ACCEPTANCE Before submitting the Seller Registration application, the applicant must confirm acceptance of the applicable Sotibuy documents by selecting the relevant checkboxes. I confirm that I have read and agree to the Sotibuy Seller Agreement and applicable Sotibuy policies. ☐ I Agree ## 10. DOCUMENT ACCESS The Seller Registration process should provide the applicant with access to the applicable Sotibuy documents before the application is submitted. These may include: - Sotibuy Seller Agreement. - Sotibuy Commission & Seller Settlement Policy. - Sotibuy Seller Eligibility & Requirements. - Sotibuy Prohibited & Restricted Products Policy. - Sotibuy Delivery & Logistics Policy. - Sotibuy Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy. - Sotibuy Buyer & Seller Dispute Resolution Policy. - Sotibuy Privacy Policy. - Sotibuy Seller Onboarding & Operating Guidelines. ## 11. APPLICATION REVIEW Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee Seller approval. Sotibuy may review the application and request additional information before approving the Seller. ## 12. APPROVAL Where an application is approved, Sotibuy may activate the Seller's selling privileges and provide access to the applicable Seller features. Sotibuy may impose category-specific requirements where necessary. ## 13. REJECTION OR DELAY Sotibuy may decline or delay an application where: - Information is incomplete. - Information cannot reasonably be verified. - The applicant does not meet Sotibuy requirements. - Proposed Products are prohibited. - Required authorization is unavailable. - There are reasonable fraud or security concerns. - Other legitimate marketplace concerns exist. ## 14. UPDATING SELLER INFORMATION Sellers must keep important account and business information reasonably accurate and up to date. Sellers should promptly update information that has materially changed. ## 15. ONGOING COMPLIANCE Seller approval is not a one-time exemption from Sotibuy's requirements. Sellers must continue to comply with the Seller Agreement and applicable Sotibuy policies throughout their participation on the Platform. ## 16. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT By submitting a Seller application, the applicant acknowledges that: - Sotibuy may verify the information supplied. - Sotibuy may request additional information where reasonably necessary. - Sotibuy manages the marketplace customer relationship. - Buyer information is protected and access is limited to what is reasonably necessary. - The Seller must comply with the Sotibuy Seller Agreement and applicable policies. - False, misleading or materially incomplete information may result in rejection, restriction or termination of the Seller account.
